Ali and the Squirrel Next Door

Ali and the Squirrel Next Door is the first book in Ali's Adventures, a gentle read-aloud story for little ones ages 3–5. I'm Kevin from Ali's Pet Supplies, and I wrote it for the kids in our lives who love dogs as much as we do.

When a little gray squirrel moves into the big oak tree next door, Ali is curious. Her first loud "WOOF!" sends her new neighbor zipping up the tree, so Ali learns to try a softer hello. Through a dropped acorn, a scary thunderstorm and a very special pinecone, a dog and a squirrel discover that neighbors can become friends, and friends can become family.
